The Adverse
Impact of Too Many Tasks
Tasks are common and are not taboo for students.
Associated with the task, will arise the differences between diligent student
and lazy student. The task is an important obligation in the sight of the
pupils even the student in university. The causes of the tasks should be carried
out because the tasks are a way that is used among the students to measure
their learning ability. So same as the lectures give the tasks to determine how
far the students’ ability in learning. There are some of the negatives effects
from the assignments such as frustration, stress and can decrease the body’s
immune of the students.
The first is frustrated, it is because the student has
been unable to find a way out to accomplish these tasks in other words there is
no goal achieved in the students’ mind. This frustration can be prevented by
each student. If the students able to think calm, patient and with a strong
physical so this frustration can be avoided in the case of the task.
The second is stress, stress caused by several factors
one of which is stress because of many tasks. Similar to frustration.
Nevertheless, the stress here is a mild frustration in doing the task. Students
stress if the task has been completed, but still mountainous of tasks that
should be conduct for the next. If the students feel stress, they should focus
on one priority task first.
The third as the last is declining immunity of the
students. Where the number of students who stay up late at night and even
forgot to have a dinner or eat and the worst thing was forget to take a shower.
It will cause the students susceptible the disease easily. Especially
stomachache or we called “maag” in Indonesian and skin disease as a result of
it. So the students should be able to arrange the time to complete the task in
order to avoid stay up late at night.
In conclusion, there are three bad effect of too many
tasks such as frustrated, stress and decrease the body’s immune of the
students. Those bad impact is very danger for our health. So the way to avoid
the adverse impact is the students must be smart and self-sufficient in managing
time surely the tasks will finish on time and as expected.
The Changes In
My Life : My Past and My Present
"Life like a Chameleon", it changes every time and
experienced by all people in the world. Sometimes there are changes that lead
to something better even lead to something worse. The same as me, as a human
being I have experienced a change in my life. It is experienced over time. My
past and my present life are alike in at least two similarities and only one
differences.
The first is, is my past appearance just like my present
appearance has long hair. I have a black hair color in my past, whereas my
present appearance I have a brown hair color. I feel comfort and confident with
my brown hair now. Moreover, I also like the color because it is not too
flashy. I always treat my brown hair because it needs more treatment than a
normal hair.
The second is, I possess a bright skin from birth
until now. Some people said that my skin like a Chinese sometimes some people
said like a Japanese. Furthermore, there is a bit shift in my skin, it becomes
brighter than beforehand. I feel more confident and comfort with my brighter
skin. To treat my skin, I always use SPF lotion in order to avoid sun exposure.
In spite of those similarities, my past and my present
also had a differences, that is my face. In my past appearance I had a smooth
face because I never used any kind of cosmetic. Meanwhile, in my present
appearance my face become rather pimply. Occasionally, it makes me not confident
to meet another. I always regret using a cosmetics that are not necessarily
suitable for my facial skin.
In conclusion, those are my similarities and
differences which occur in my life that I consider to be a valuable life
experience. The similarities such as my long hair and my bright skin while my
difference is my behavior. From those similarities and difference, I hope I can
create a better changes in the future.
THE EMBARRASSING
MOMENT
When we talk about embarrassing moment, sometimes we
always remember about something worst happened around us. It also happened to
me. I have experienced when I was following English Sport Vaganza (ESV). My
sandal was broken.
A few months ago I was following English Sport Vaganza
(ESV) in Kampus Tengah to highlight EED’s anniversary. When I was enjoying the event
with my friends, unwittingly my sandal was broken. I just realized it when I
felt not comfortable with my sandal. My friends looked at my sandal and
laughed. They said “Hey, what sandal do you use?, it is very embarrassing
anyway....haha..” but I tried to ignore them.
It made me trapped in a terrible situation. Where I
must stand along until the event finished. Many people saw me with sarcastic
expression. I felt really fool and there was nothing to hide it.
Suddenly, there was someone came to me with her gasp.
Apparently she was my close friend, she gave me her sandal. I felt relief and
thankful because she helped me. Then she said “Don’t use that sandal again!”
Better you buy the new one, okay?”. I just replied her words with a simple
smile and hug her.
In conclusion, I have experienced an embarrassing
moment which made me really fool at that time. Since that, I try to be more careful to wear sandal.
Hopefully this experience never come to my life again.

SOME STRENGTHS OF MY OWN
Every human
being was born in the world with their strength, so do I. I have some strengths
that exist in me.The strengths that I have in myself such as, I have a good
ability in singing like singing pop, rock, jazz, dangdut and also Balinese
songs. Other than that I also have
cooking ability like making soup and make a brownies cake. Moreover, the strength in mine that I
really love is I have a Chinese or Japanese face. Those are
three things that I consider as my
strengths.
My ability in
singing has been trained since I was in elementary school. Even in kindergarten
school, I was one of the champion among of the contestants of Kindergarten
student in Pekutatan district. While studying in elementary school, my teacher
pointed me to join the “Matembang” competition. I won the second position in
the competition, also in the level of Pekutatan district. My struggle in the
field of singing kept on going. Then, when I was in Junior High School, I
together with my elder sister initiated to join the song competition on the
radio of Suara Bahana,Jembrana. It
was my first time I joined the competition in the level of Jembrana regency.
Through several rounds applied in the competition, then I succeeded in
achieving the first champion. I was very
happy, then. I was not satisfied
with the achievement. Eversince, my parents and my elder sister have encouraged
me to improve my talent and recently, I participated in highlighting the
anniversary of Undiksha University by performing the pop song competition. I obtained the runner up among the
contestants of several faculties.
Cooking is
one of my hobby. My friends often tells me that my soup and brownie taste
delicious. I do
cooking in my spare time, especially on
Sundays or holidays. My talent of
cooking is not for competition. It is dedicated especially for my family and I
am pleased to do that.
Some people say that I am like a Chinese girl. Some others still say that I
look like a Japanese. They say that I have small
eyes, pointed nose and white skin. That is why, they often take it for granted
that I am a Chinese or Japanese by
birth. In fact, my
father and mother are a Balinese. So are my grandparents. I regard these all as the
mercy endowed by the God, and I should be thankful about this. By means of this, I should be
self confident, especially for me as the candidate of teacher. Perhaps,
I have to profound Japanese language to take the advantage of this matter. Who
knows, someday, I will work in Japan, or teach the Japanese students Indonesian
or Balinese. I believe they are very familiar with me. Moreover, the classroom
engagement will be more lively, and so condusive in order to create joyful
learning.
In conclusion, my ability in singing, cooking such meals as soup and
brownie as well as my face are three things that I regard as my strengths.
